Thursday, April 20, 2017 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm  ET
In-person | Cleveland, OH
Free

This fast-paced session introduces you to a systematic model for building sustainable funding for your mission. Learn to leave a legacy of passionate lifelong individual donors as you tailor the Benevon Model to your organization.

Participants are encouraged to bring other staff, board, and volunteers to engage them in this practical and effective approach.

In this Session, you will learn:

  • An overview of the Benevon Model, an organic system for building sustainable funding for the mission of your organization from multiple-year individual donors
  • How to implement mission-focused, permission-based fundraising
  • How to make your organization more visible in your community
  • How to identify and personally cultivate individual donors who are passionate about your mission

Benevon trains and coaches nonprofit organizations to implement a mission-based system for raising sustainable funding from individual donors. This system ends the suffering about fundraising and builds passionate and committed lifelong donors. The Benevon Model was developed by founder Terry Axelrod, author of seven books and several DVDs, including her most recent book, The Benevon Model: A Step-by-Step Guide to Getting it Right. About the presenter:

Marcy McNeal, Benevon Coach, joined Benevon after fifteen years of working with non-profit organizations in Fort Collins, Colorado. Most recently, as the founding executive director of the Poudre School District Foundation, Marcy successfully implemented the Benevon model, which resulted in positive educational opportunities for thousands of students and positioned the foundation to begin a major gifts initiative. The Benevon Model provided clear strategies for transforming the way the foundation engaged its donors, volunteers and community. Prior to that, Marcy served as executive director of a drug abuse prevention organization.

Marcy is committed to helping youth and families reach their fullest potential. Her commitment to making a difference in her own community inspired her to become a coach with Benevon so she could help many organizations achieve sustainable funding by engaging lifelong donors in their work.
